Rob Brezsny – The Coolest of the Cool!

Rob Brezny is a spiritual guide,  astrologer, and as I said above, The Coolest of the Cool as far as horoscopes go!

He writes a weekly horoscope that is quite unique and I’m sure unlike any others you might read. You can check him out here.  For me, these are not so much “predictions” of any sort. They are reflections – and often quite fun ones!

Here’s mine for this week:

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): “If we wish to outline an architecture that conforms to the structure of our soul,” wrote Friedrich Nietzsche, “it would have to be conceived in the image of the labyrinth.” I take this to mean that clarity, assuredness, and single-mindedness are luxuries the ego may indulge in, but they are not the natural state of our deepest selves. Rather, at our cores, in the essential primal source that sustains us, we are complicated and meandering . . . mysterious and exploratory… curious and questioning. In other words, it’s perfectly healthy to be in a labyrinthine state of mind. I hope this meditation helps you enjoy your upcoming Season of Soul.

This one really moved me this week. I always enjoy them, but there ‘s something a bit different here in this one for me. Often when I read them, something stirs in me and I have no idea what it is but I know I feel it. So, that’s the real beauty for me and this particular one is speaking to just that.

I wonder how he goes about writing these… I think he is brilliant and soulful and loving. I often capture the specific signs for my friends and send them along with my additional thoughts…because something moves me about THEM when reading theirs. It’s kind of silly, but I do it and the ones who get them mostly like getting them (as far as I know) and I’ve had some ask where they were when I didn’t send them. I gotta feel it to send it though.
